Elderberry is a powerful berry packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It has been used for centuries to help boost immune systems and can also help reduce the severity and length of sickness. Elderberry syrup can also help lower blood sugars, reduce allergies, The use of raw, local honey also helps with fighting local allergens. 

The standard dose for teenagers and adults is 1 tablespoon per day and children 1 teaspoon per day. On the onset of illness or while ill, take the standard dose every 3-4 hours.

Elderberry syrup can be stored in the refrigerator up to 3 months. Each bottle has a consume by date on it. I recommend storing it in the back of the refrigerator where it's coldest to preserve the shelf life.

From start to finish, it takes about an hour. The kit comes in an easy to make pouch that you discard after the process is complete and add your favorite sweetener, but local honey is recommended. 

I encourage you to reach out to your doctor with any concerns you may have as there hasn't been extensive research regarding the interactions with elderberry and pregnancy.
